All vehicle rentals in Horwich are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or vehicle pickup. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

Renting a vehicle requires:

3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be completed via our website, over the phone, or directly at our Horwich office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are usually required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

You remain liable for any damage or loss up to the excess amount unless further protection is purchased. Damage resulting from negligence or misuse is your responsibility, irrespective of existing insurance coverage.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ depending on the type of booking and the notice given. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows could incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Restrictions on Vehicle Use
- The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful purposes or activities. This includes racing, off-roading, or any dangerous driving practices. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or allowing unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Additionally, using the vehicle for purposes it is not intended for, exceeding passenger or weight limits, and driving outside the agreed geographical area without authorization is not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Constraints
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Horwich is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the amount you paid for the rental in the past year. This does not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent activities.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
